Mrs. Horgan's 4th and 5th class and Ms. Simcox's 5th and 6th class took part in a webinar on World Wetlands Day - Winter Migration as part of our Green-Schools Water theme and in conjunction with World Wetlands Day. During the session, the pupils learned all about wetlands, what they are and why they are so important for our planet. The webinar also explored how wetlands provide vital habitats for plants and wildlife. Pupils discovered the role wetlands play in tackling climate change and how protecting these special environments helps both people and nature.
