Last week our hurling team qualified for the Sciath na Scol final, which will be played in Páirc Uí Chaoimh. We played Rennies, Gaelscoil an Chaisleain, Goggins Hill and Blarney in the group stages, winning three games and drawing one against Blarney. We have since played the semi final against Dunderrow NS in Kinsale GAA, which was a very tough game. The game was very tight at half time but with a few scores from our forwards, we managed to get over the line. Our backs played especially well with great hooking and blocking on show. The final will take place on Wednesday 20th May against Blarney. Please come out support! Up Ballyheada!!!
