This week we learned all about Neil Armstrong and his incredible trip to the moon! The children loved watching videos of the rocket launch and the moon landing, and they were so excited to share what they already knew about him.
We talked about how Neil Armstrong was the first person to walk on the moon in 1969 and how brave he had to be to go on such an amazing journey. The children asked fantastic questions and enjoyed imagining what it would be like to wear a space suit, float in space, and see the Earth from so far away.
It was wonderful to see their curiosity and enthusiasm as they learned more about this important moment in history
