This week the children created some beautiful autumn artwork using leaf silhouettes. First, they carefully cut out leaf shapes and stuck them onto their card. Then they used rich autumn colours – reds, oranges, yellows and browns – to paint right over the top. Once the paint was dry, they gently peeled away the leaf shapes to reveal stunning leaf silhouettes hidden underneath.
The results are just lovely – every piece is unique and really captures the colours of autumn. The children were so proud of their work, and they couldn’t wait to show it off!
