Pupils from 3rd to 6th class took part in engaging and informative 90-minute Anti-Cyberbullying and Internet Safety Workshops led by guest speaker Ger Brick.
Formally an IT Manager with Microsoft Ireland for 17 years, Ger Brick has 20+ years’ experience working on the Internet and has facilitated workshops with over 200,000 primary school children throughout Ireland.
During the sessions, which were aimed at the children's class levels, Ger explored a range of important topics including respectful communication, popular apps, the rules and consequences of cyberbullying, digital footprints, protecting personal information, privacy and general online safety guidelines.
