Friday, May 16th, 2025 marked the beginning of what will hopefully become a new tradition in Ballyheada N.S. The pupils of 6th class hosted our very first 'Grandparents' Day'. Together with their teacher Ms. Murphy and SNA Miss Mairéad, the children embraced the importance of our grandparents through music, poetry, interviews, art work and delicious baking. Our grandparents were treated to a well earned exhibition which exuded pride and much love. The influence and special relationships between the children and their grandparents was an emotional experience to witness. We enjoyed the community spirit and families had a prime opportunity to chat and interact. Well done to all involved.
