On Thursday 5th of March Fabrice, our French teacher, brought in a selection of French children's books to celebrate World Book Day. Some of these were books belonging to his children from when they were young. They included school readers, comic books and famous French books like Astérix and Babar. Fabrice even brought in his French dictionary from when he was 8 years old - a very serious-looking tome of a book with no pictures! We enjoyed hearing Fabrice tell us more about famous French children's books, and more importantly we enjoyed poring over these books with our pals.
