On Saturday 7th February, Ballyheada NS were invited to play at half time in the Cork Vs Tipperary hurling match. Both the boys and girls teams took part, and enjoyed a fantastic evening of hurling and camogie, playing against Glounthane NS (Erins Own). A night to remember for sure! Pupils have been developing their skills in after school Sciath na Scol sessions, as well as learning from local hurler Darragh O Sullivan during in-school sessions, which has been organised by the club. It's safe to say hurling and camogie is alive and well in Ballinhassig!
