On Friday 6th March the Ballyheada chess team took part in the Féile Fichille at Ballygarvan NS. Each pupil played a total of 6 games of chess, demonstrating great enthusiasm and sportsmanship. It was a fantastic opportunity for all involved. We are very proud of our students for representing the school so well and are delighted to announce that we have been selected to advance to the Comortas Fichille for the teams excellence in chess. This will take place in Ovens on the 23rd of April and we wish our team the very best of luck!
